He has been working as a consultant Vitreoretinal surgeon at Dr.Sreekanth eye care in Calicut, KIMS Health Trivandrum, Ozanam Eye Centre under Bishop Benzigar Hospital Kollam, and SJ Eye Hospital Karukachal. His surgical experience at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai as a viteroretinal fellow and at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore as a consultant in the department of retina has given an opportunity to operate on a wide variety of surgical retina cases in considerable volumes. During his these years of experience in the retina, he has operated on a high volume of cases of retinal detachment, non-resolving vitreous hemorrhage, diabetic tractional retinal detachment, posteriorly dislocated crystalline lens, epiretinal membranes, macular hole, cases of trauma with intraocular foreign body and management of postoperative endophthalmitis. He also manages all types of medical retina conditions and is well-versed with lasers (both conventional and PDT) and intravitreal injections.
